This is our second narrative idea.
The plot for this opening is about a teenage girl getting kidnapped. It would start with the girl living her normal life, she takes the dog out for a walk and someone who appears to be friendly is asking about her dog and where she lives etc and later on, when she is walking home, a van corners her and she is grabbed into the van and it would finish with the dog barking and the family running out but it is too late.
Throughout the opening, there would be lots of tension building. This would include eery sound effects, close camera shots and we would make the beginning of the opening seem as natural as possible which means it surprises the audience. However, this would make it very hard to get the audience's attention which is vital for the opening of a film.
